Who We Are...

Whether you're a resident or a visitor, Dallas has it all.

The Dallas Area Visitors Center is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to promoting Dallas to surrounding communities and beyond. As a Visitor Center, we provide information about all of the many wonderful things Polk County and Dallas have to offer, along with State travel information.
The mission of the Dallas Area Visitors Center is to stimulate the economy, commerce, growth and tourism. The Visitors Center is committed to promoting the Dallas area, through marketing and advertising, as a great place to live, work, and play. The Visitors Center provides information to visitors, potential residents, and new businesses alike.

The Dallas Area Chamber of Commerce started the Visitors Center in 2005. The purpose was to give both organizations focus on their missions and programs, as well as separate funding mechanisms. The Visitors Center worked hard to form the organization and is proud to work in collaboration with the City of Dallas as the official Visitors Center. We also work heavily with visitors and people interested in or who have recently moved into our community, encouraging all to  #exploredallasoregon
