Annual Events
The Dallas Area Visitor Center exist for the betterment of the community. We are committed to promoting the Dallas area, through marketing and advertising, as a great place to live, work, and play. Included in this commitment are community events. Harnessing a sense of community is important for a number of reasons, including: a sense of community and belonging, strengthening the identity of our community, and encouraging economic development within our town.

Some of the annual events that you'll find around Dallas Oregon include the Chamber of Commerce's Annual Awards Banquet, a nationally recognized BBQ competition, Krazy Dayz summer festival, summer concert series, Red, White & Boom Fourth of July celebration, Trick n' Treat on Main Street and Miracle on Main Street Christmas tree lightning ceremony.

Every February, the Chamber of Commerce hosts the Annual Community Awards Banquet as a way to celebrate outstanding citizens, businesses and non-profits organizations. This formal event provides an elegant way for the community to come together and thank those who truly make a difference.

City of Dallas Presents Summer Concert Series

Starting in July of every summer, Dallas hosts various musicians for the community and visitors alike!
Catch these fun filled shows with complete food truck court, and beer venue featuring local craft beer and ciders! All shows are free!!

History & Mystery Paranormal Tour of Dallas, Oregon​

You will walk along the courthouse lawn to explore several iconic buildings that were built as early as 1845. Your guide will discuss the history of these awe-inspiring buildings and share local lore of the paranormal within the these walls You will have the opportunity to go inside select long forgotten buildings to take a peek inside the mystery of Downtown Dallas.

Held in June every year, the Smoke of the Dragon BBQ-n-Brew is a sanctioned BBQ competition open to the public! Come enjoy the best BBQ north of Texas, beer garden, beautiful City Park with playgrounds, creek, clean restrooms, and shade!

Dallas, Oregon goes KRAZY the last weekend in July! This annual event has something for everyone. Musicians, magicians, parades, food, shopping, fun, family and friends, old and new! ​

This event brings all the ghouls and goblins downtown Dallas to trick n' treat safely. Merchants around the square offer treats and businesses partner to provide fun activities and contests for everyone to participate in.

Miracle on Main Street​

It's the most wonderful time of the year! The community of Dallas comes out in droves for this magical event to celebrate the beginning of the holiday season. Complete with a tree lighting, holiday shopping, cookies and cocoa, and a visit from the big man himself, this event is a favorite by all!
