Promise Screening & After Party
In 1986 Dallas went to Hollywood; or rather Hollywood came to Dallas. That's right, the movie "Promise", starring James Garner and James Woods, was filmed right here on Main St.
Join us on Saturday, May 18th for a re-screening of the movie at Dallas Cinema! Tickets are $5.00 and available for purchase online or at the box office! (ticket website available soon).
After the movie, hop on over to Blue Garden for an after party! There will be lots of fun memories shared and maybe even some surprises!
The Dallas Area Visitors Center is pleased to host this safe and weather resistant event on October 31st at the Morrison Campus on Main Street. The FREE Trick-N-Treat happens from 3pm-6pm for children ages 0-12 years. We average over 650 people participating with 25 businesses on display, giving out goodies to kids and their parents.
For three days, our beautiful Polk County Courthouse Lawn holds about 70 booths providing food, retail products, commercial information, and arts & crafts. Then we shift to the Dallas City Park with Breakfast, Car Show, Art in the Park and Bounty Market!
