Who doesn't love a great grilling session with your favorite meats... Hamburgers, Hotdogs, Sausages, Steaks, Chicken? How about the aluminum foil pouches that cook up like magic? And now we even have those great grilling mats that you can cook with and not have food fall in to the hot coals.
As this past Saturday, June 20th, was the official Summer solstice, and the weather was great here in Dallas on Sunday, what better way to celebrate Father's Day than with a great small-town cookout!
One of my very favorites on the grill is squash and zucchini on an open mat or in a pouch with seasonings and butter, REAL butter! Let's face it, It's all great over an open grill. Wow, it is just making my mouth water writing about this!
And now that it is officially Summer, lets break out those grills and share some of your favorite recipes! We would love to hear of both main and side dishes and what your secret is to that luscious flavor that your friends and family crave!!!
